Topic:
Generative AI is revolutionizing the way technical professionals work, offering powerful new tools to streamline workflows and enhance productivity and DBAs are no exception.
In this session, we will explore the fundamental concepts crucial for effectively utilizing large language models (LLMs) in a DBA context. We’ll discuss key parameters such as model temperature and how it affects output variability, the importance of context windows in maintaining coherent interactions, and techniques for crafting effective prompts to elicit desired responses.
We will then go into demos that apply those concepts to practical use cases for leveraging generative AI in database management tasks like script writing, query optimization, data modeling, and troubleshooting issues.
