The sheer size and complexity of many of todays SQL server sites brings new challenges to the DBA that begs for new tools and solutions. Per Undheim will present a number of techniques and tools we use to obtain overviews and manage large SQL server farms.

Per Undheim is a Senior DBA at dbWatch working with R&D, operations and customers on both SQL Server and Oracle cluster platforms. He is actively involved in projects, deployment and tuning for our customers as well as an active part of product. He is also our resident security expert having worked as security manager in other companies before joining dbWatch. When not working with SQL server or Oracle issues he is an avid drone builder and pilot making his own electronics and 3d prints.
