Lots of sessions about indexes give you technical, but not practical information. It’s not that the information is bad, it’s just that you can’t take it and apply it to your problems. In this session, we’re gonna dive deep into how queries use indexes, and the warning signs you’ll see when you have a problem indexing can solve. We’re going to be looking at query plan stuff like memory grants, spools, and lookups. We’re also going to look at how indexes can give you a leg up on locking. And best of all, you’ll learn how to stop worrying about fragmentation and start fixing real problems.
